C. Alec Yen, D.M.D., M.S.

Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology

Dr. Yen, a graduate of Duke University, received his Masters of Science and Certificate in Periodontics from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston. He is a part-time faculty member at the University of Maryland Dental School. Dr, Yen has served as Assistant Clinical Professor and Research Associate at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He has published in the Journal of Periodontology. Dr. Yen has treated patients in private practice in the Boston area.

A member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, and the International and American Association for Dental Research, Dr. Yen was also a Research Committee Member in Periodontics, and received a Certificate of Appreciation in Teaching at Tufts. He is also a member of the Maryland State Dental Association, Chinese Dental Society, Patuxent Dental Society, and Southern Maryland Dental Society.

Dr. Yen enjoys traveling, hiking, and playing tennis. He is an avid fan of the Duke Blue Devils basketball team, the Boston Red Sox, and the New England Patriots.
