Dr. Dennis Winson, an accomplished dental surgeon, is a graduate of the University of Maryland, Georgetown University, and received a Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr Winson served in the United State Air Force and, while in Vietnam, as Chief of Periodontics and Preventative Dentistry. He was an active staff member of Providence Hospital, and an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland Dental School and Graduate Program of Periodontics.
Dr. Winson is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontics, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, The Gerald Bowers Study Club in Periodontology. He has presided as President of the Greater Washington and Metropolitan Societies of Periodontics, Progressive Study Club, and Alpha Omega Fraternity. Honors include the Garrett Reilly Award for Outstanding Dental Research. For the American Academy of Periodontology, Dr. Winson has held positions as Officer-Board of Trustees, worked on the
Professional Relations Committee, Nominations, Editor Search and Chaired the Task Force Committee.
His knowledge of dentistry and clinical experience, Dr. Winson acts as an expert witness for litigation cases. He also serves as President of Envirotek Corporation and Scientific Advisor and Board member of Medical Discoveries Inc.
Dr. Winson is a life long Washingtonian. He loves traveling, gardening and his grandchildren. |
