Robert M. Zupnik, D.D.S., M.S.D.
Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology
Dr. Zupnik is recognized for his expertise as clinical practitioner, and for his contributions to academia in the study of periodontics. He holds degrees from Georgetown University, and the University of Pennsylvania. A Master's Degree in the Science of Dentistry was received from Boston University. Dr. Zupnik was the founder of the Graduate Program of Periodontics at the School of Dentistry, University of Maryland and served as its Co-Director and a Clinical Professor.
He has been a speaker for various dental organizations and has served on the board and committees of the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Zupnik was an Officer in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps. He organized and facilitates a monthly study club for dental professionals in the Washington area, and is a member of the advisory board, as a periodontist, for a major insurance company.
Dr. Zupnik is member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, American Dental Association, Maryland State Dental Association, Southern Maryland Dental Society, and the Alpha Omega Fraternity.
Dr. Zupnik is an equestrian enthusiast, enjoys riding competitions and tennis. |
